Further Information

Below is a list of our holiday activities in order of increasing age. Information on regular activities can be found here.

Southampton Mencap has a range of specialist schemes available during the school and college breaks, which provide quality play, leisure and social opportunities for children and young people, giving parents and carers short breaks too. These activities are jointly funded through a number of external sources, as well as parental contributions and the organisation’s own resources.

Please note that because of the funding received through the Local Authority, all activities for children and young people under the age of 18 are restricted to people living within Southampton city’s boundary. Furthermore, all of our activities will give priority to children and adults living at the family home in order to provide respite for unpaid carers, though we will be happy to accept members living in supported living if places are available.
