Although Southampton Mencap is affiliated to Royal Mencap, we are totally responsible for raising sufficient income to sustain our many activities. Any donation, whether small or large, will benefit local adults or children with a learning disability and those who provide their care.

Some examples of the ways in which we receive donations are through:

• Money left in Wills
• Family requests for donations in lieu of floral tributes at funerals, or donations made in memory of a loved one.
• Fundraising events, e.g. funds raised through music concerts, jumble/cake sales, street parties, etc.
• One-off donations
